Sub: Application for registration under the Maharashtra Value  Added Tax Act, 2002.

Gentlemen/Sir/Madam,

The trading community and the practitioners are aware that the process of registration has been automated. The applicant who files a correct and complete application enclosing all the required documents is being granted TIN immediately, after photo attestation. The TIN allotment letter generated through “Mahavikas” is issued to the dealers on the spot. The minimum data entry necessary for the generation of the TIN is made by the registration officials and the rest of the data entry has been outsourced.

2. The department has been trying to make a sincere effort to deliver mistake free TIN certificates to the dealers. However, very often it is noticed that in Form 101:
