Cricket Tournament:
Like every year, CAMA arranged the Cricket Tournament during Dec.2001 - Jan.2002. We received an overwhelming response from our members.

Shri Jitu Mehta & his team from __________Association won the trophy of the Inter Market cricket tournament.

Inter Association Cricket Tournament was also held during February-2002. And it is our pride to say that CAMA has knocked the trophy in the finals of Inter Association Cricket Tournament for the second consecutive year. 
Conference of CAMA Members at Goa:
A Conference of CAMA Members was organized at Fort Aguada Beach Resort, Goa, between 22nd February 2002 and 24th February 2002. About 205 members participated in the conference. It was highly appreciated and hugely successful. A seminar on "Personal Excellence" was widely appreciated by one and all. The participants also appreciated the arrangements made in respect and of stay, food, sight seeing etc.
Free note books: Like every year, over _________ free notebooks were distributed by The Chemical & Alkali Merchants' Trust to the children of our Members' staff and the poor children studying in the schools in neighboring Vadgadi area.
Solvent Order-2000:
As stated in our previous Managing Committee Report, the Solvent Order-2000 dated 5.6.2001 was issued by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, New Delhi.

Due to strong opposition agitation and representations made by CAMA and other Associations, the suggestions given by Task Force Committee were finally accepted and the revised Solvent Control Order dated 21st November, 2001, specifying the items covered, has been issued by the Petroleum Ministry.
Disbursement of funds collected for the victims of Gujarat Earthquake
For the rehabilitation of Victims of the devastating Earth Quake struck on 26th January, 2001, in different parts of Gujarat, CAMA has collected Rs.42, 55,515 which is the highest donation ever collected by CAMA.

For its proper disbursement a team of CAMA Members visited to the different areas of Gujarat frequently and identified various NGOs working for this noble cause to join the hands with them.

And after thorough investigation and study, the collected amount was disbursed in installments among different NGOs, for different projects like construction of Balmandir, Primary School Building, High School Building, Work sheds for the Artisans etc.
Antop Hill Warehousing Project:
We are very happy to inform our members that AHWCO Ltd. has reduced the gala transfer charges from 10% to 2% of the cost of the gala. For transfer between blood relations, AHWCO.Ltd. Is charging only Rs.5, 000/- as transfer charges. 

To fulfill the demand by Galaholders of Antop Hill Warehousing Co.Ltd., for "the change of user", CAMA has sent representations and several reminders to Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Vilasraoji Deshmukh and now we are waiting for reply from him.
Inaugration CAMA web site:
The CAMAINDIA.COM web site was inaugurated at the hands of H'ble Minister for Petroleum and Oil Shri Ram Naik ji on ___________________. It was received with great appreciation and expectations to change the future course of Chemical market.
